He is widely recognized for his ability to forge and nurture strong relationships with producers, traders, brokers, and certified vendors, ensuring that all procurement activities are ethical, cost-effective, and aligned with both business objectives and sustainability goals.
He has built a robust supply chain that ensures quality, traceability, and timely procurement across all key categories. By implementing strategic cost optimization and risk management initiatives, he has effectively navigated commodity price fluctuations while maintaining supply consistency. Basant has also ensured strict compliance with FSSAI regulations, sustainability norms, and ethical sourcing frameworks. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of new SKUs by developing reliable and scalable supplier ecosystems across multiple regions.
Before joining Kirana King, Basant worked with Lloyd Electric and Havells India, where he gained valuable experience in procurement and supply chain operations over a period of 5+ years.
